Today, because of the pandemic less and less boats are being used which means a more peaceful ocean for the animals.

Animals like whales need a quiet ocean because of  their use of noises to communicate and know where they’re going.  The animals can  always hear the loud noises that ships make, it also makes it difficult for killer whales to hunt.

A bioacoustics researcher from Aarhus University says,“in many instances they just completely stop echolocating, or they change their foraging behaviour.” This also may make whales stop hunting.

Right now animals are enjoying their quieter oceans that makes them more healthier, helps them hunt better, have no distractions and are less stress from the noises we do.
