Lately, the modeling world has been going crazy for albino models. Albinism is a disease people are born with where you lack pigmentation in your skin, hair, and eyes. People are being discovered left and right for being unique in a natural way. Some are self-conscience because of their lack of pigment, but most embrace it.

These 11-year-old twins, Lara and Mara Bawar, are models from Brazil who embrace their lack of pigmentation.

“We feel albinism is pretty,we love our hair, eye color and skin tone,” says Lara. Mara adds “growing up like this was amazing, we love being different and are happy with our unique beauty.”

The twins were discovered only about a year ago by a photographer because of their “pale figures.”

The twins also model with their older sister, Sheila, who does not have albinism. Sheila says, “We like to see our beauty being valued by its unique aspects.”

The twins are just a few people who are recognized for their pale beauty. There are many other people becoming models because of their albinism. Some of these albino models include Stephen Thompson, Alyona Subbotina, Albi X, and many more.

Each and everyday more and more albino models are being discovered for being unique in their own, natural way.
