The next generation consoles are now here. Many people are getting the consoles as of right now and it is very difficult to buy one. The stores seem to run out of stock quickly. Microsoft and Sony have been competing with each other since their first consoles. Here we will be comparing these two consoles to see which one comes out on top. You can get these consoles at Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and Amazon.

The xbox series s is a small, very powerful console. It has a price of $299.99 which is the cheapest of all of the next-gen consoles. It has no Disk slot so you cannot put Disks inside of the console, But that isn’t the only limitation it has between it and the Xbox Series X. It has a GPU of 4 teraflops. This Xbox has a 512GB SSD and a 10GB memory. The Max resolution is 1440p with a frame rate of 120fps. The Xbox series S comes with a high speed HDMI port but can also be used with a USB-A and Ethernet cable. The size of the xbox is 10.8 x 5.9 x 2.6 inches and weighs 4.3 pounds which makes it the Smallest Xbox ever made by Microsoft. Inside of the box comes the Xbox Series S, The Controller, 2 AA Batteries and 2 cables to connect the xbox to your TV.

The Xbox series X is the most powerful one out of all of them. It has a price of $499.99. Unlike the Xbox series s this console does come with a disk drive. This Xbox loads games very, very fast. It has a GPU of 12 teraflops. The Xbox Series X also has a memory of 16GB and a 1TB SSD. The max resolution is 8k with a 120fps. Just like the Xbox Series s you can use a HDMI, USB-A, and Ethernet port. The size of this xbox is 11.9 x 5.9 x 5.9 inches and weighs 9.8 pounds. In the box comes the same thing as what came in the Xbox Series S box which is the xbox series x, a controller, two AA batteries, an AC power cable, and an HDMI cable.

The PS5 is the other option. There are 2 types of the PS5 with only one difference being that The PS5 digital version can not get disks inside of it just like the Xbox Series S. The regular PS5 is $499.99 and the Digital PS5 is $399.99. The PS5 can support up to 8k and can go up to 120fps. It has a GPU of 10.28 Teraflops. It has a memory of 16GB and a storage capacity of 825GB but only 667GB can be used. The size of the PS5 is 39 x 10.4 x 26cm, and the size of the PS5 controller is 160mm x 66mm x 106mm. When you get your PS5 inside the box will be a Dualsense controller, a stand to support the PS5, an HDMI Cable, a power lead, a USB C to USB cable.

If you are an Xbox fan that wants a next gen console with a low budget and it doesn’t matter to you if you have a small storage, no 4-8k gaming, and no disk drive,  you should get the Xbox Series S. If you are an Xbox fan and want a disk drive, larger storage, up to 8k gaming and have disks for your games you should get the Xbox Series X. If you are a PlayStation player and you have disks you should get the regular PlayStation. If you are okay with your storage filling quickly and don’t use disks you should get the digital edition.
